The fastest way to get an Eluu colleague into Slack.

Install

1

Open Slack settings in Eluu

In the app, click the Slack icon in the bottom-left of the sidebar.
2

Pick @Eluu

Click Connect @Eluu from the options.
3

Authorise in your Slack workspace

You’ll be redirected to Slack. Pick the workspace, review the permissions, and click Allow.
4

You're back in Eluu

The connection shows up. You can now map colleagues to channels.

Map a colleague to a channel

Once the bot is in your workspace, you decide which colleague answers in which channel. In the Slack settings, open the connection you just set up. You’ll see your team’s channels. For each channel where you want a colleague to respond, pick which colleague. A few useful patterns:
  • One colleague in each business-function channel — Sofia in #sales-ops, Max in #customer-success.
  • A general-purpose colleague in #ai-help for anyone-can-ask questions.
  • No mapping in channels you’d rather keep human-only.
If a channel has no mapping, @Eluu won’t respond there.

Talk to it

Once mapped, mention @Eluu in any of those channels.
@Eluu summarise the last 50 messages in this channel and pull out action items.
@Eluu look at our pipeline this morning and post a quick health check here.
@Eluu, draft a follow-up for the customer we discussed yesterday.
The colleague mapped to that channel does the work. The reply lands in the same thread.

DMs work too

You can DM @Eluu directly. By default, the colleague who handles DMs is the one you’ve set as your default — usually the colleague Eluu created for you on signup.
